PKF Infuse : Updated on October 30, 2026
PKF Infuse has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Shanai King as Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Advisory Director. Shanai will lead the development of PKF Smith Cooper’s GRC advisory service line, working with our cyber security and technology specialists and with teams across the wider PKF Smith Cooper Group.
The appointment comes as businesses face increasing pressure to show they are protecting sensitive information, managing cyber security threats and complying with the regulations that govern how they operate. The rapid adoption of artificial intelligence has added further complexity, with many organisations looking for guidance on how to embrace new technology without exposing themselves to unnecessary risk.
Shanai joins from senior roles at Lloyds Banking Group and Co-op, where she led specialist teams across security consultancy, transformation, cloud security engineering, technical assurance and cyber risk. She has extensive experience helping global organisations identify risks, strengthen security procedures and meet their regulatory obligations.
Paul Howard, managing director of PKF Infuse, said: “Businesses are under more pressure than ever to demonstrate that they are managing their data and compliance responsibly, protecting themselves against cyber threats and meeting their compliance obligations.”
“At the same time, the rapid growth of artificial intelligence is creating huge opportunities, but it also brings new risks and responsibilities that many organisations are still trying to understand.”
“We are seeing growing demand from businesses that want reassurance that they are doing the right things and need practical advice on how to achieve that.”
“Shanai brings a wealth of experience in this area. Her appointment will strengthen the support PKF Smith Cooper provides to clients, helping them manage risk while making the most of new technology.”
“We are delighted to welcome her to the team.”
Shanai King said: “What really attracted me to PKF Smith Cooper and PKF Infuse was the shared focus on continuous improvement and finding better ways to support businesses. I have always been passionate about building teams and services that make a real difference, particularly by making cyber security, risk and compliance easier for organisations to understand and manage.”
“I am really looking forward to bringing that experience to the team and helping shape how we support clients as their needs continue to evolve.”
Shanai’s GRC advisory service is delivered through PKF Smith Cooper, supported by PKF Infuse’s cyber security and technology expertise, giving clients practical, independent advice on technology, data, cyber security and regulatory risk.
