How to share from Outlook to Microsoft Teams

  1. Open any email and on the ribbon you will see the new ‘Share to Teams’ icon.
  2. When you select the ‘Share to Teams’ button, simply type the name of a person, group or channel who you’d like to share the email with. You can also add your own message when sharing the email.
  3. Once you’ve hit send, the email will appear in the selected channel or chat and will also be saved in the subfolder “Email Messages” within SharePoint – easy peasy!
