What is Earth Day? 

Earth Day lands on the 22nd April every year. It was originally set up to tackle environmental issues and led to the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency, it has since become a global event2020 marks the 50-year anniversary of Earth Day aiming to make the world a better place and raising awareness of minimising the impact of environmental issues on the Earth.  

The environmental impact of technology 

According to research, 50 Million Tonnes of E-waste ended up landfills across the world. In 2019, The UK was named as the worst offender for exporting E-waste to developing countries.
