Derby-based IT company ranked among the world's top managed service providers - and second in the Midlands

PKF Infuse has been ranked 149th on the 2026 Channel Futures MSP 501, the technology industry's definitive global ranking of managed service providers. The result marks three consecutive years of significant progress, rising from 266th in 2024 and 231st in 2025, and places the company second in the Midlands region. Out of an estimated 150,000 MSPs worldwide and more than 12,000 in the UK alone, the ranking puts PKF Infuse firmly among the industry's global elite.

The Channel Futures MSP 501, now in its 19th year, is widely regarded as the most comprehensive independent benchmark in the managed services industry. Rankings are determined using a rigorous quantitative methodology based on verified financial data, measuring sustained growth, recurring revenue, profitability, and operational excellence.

Paul Howard, Managing Director, said:

"Three years of consecutive progress, from 266th to 231st to 149th is something I'm incredibly proud of. We've stayed focused on what matters to our customers: keeping pace with where technology is heading and keeping one eye on what comes next, whilst consistently providing exceptional IT support. Right now, the team we have is the best it's ever been. Where we go from here is the exciting part!”

That forward focus is increasingly shaped by a rapidly changing regulatory environment for UK businesses. The Cyber Security and Resilience Bill, currently progressing through Parliament, will for the first time bring managed service providers directly into scope, placing real weight behind supply chain security obligations. Product security legislation now extends to any device or system with software in it, and the EU AI Act draws in UK businesses with any exposure to European markets. Across supply chains, Cyber Essentials certification is increasingly a commercial prerequisite rather than an optional credential.

PKF Infuse is well positioned to support clients through this shift. As part of PKF Smith Cooper, a leading firm of accountants and business advisors with regional offices and connections to the global PKF International network. Compliance, governance, and risk advisory are embedded in how the business operates, not bolted on as an afterthought. That integration of technology expertise with professional advisory thinking gives clients a perspective that other IT providers simply cannot offer.

A huge well done to all the team!
